This page does not describe custom recipe creation, which is dependant on a survivor's Crafting Skill. For more information, see Custom Consumable. These recipes are not a learned skill, require no experience or engrams, nor do survivor stats affect the outcome. Any survivor can cook any of these recipes at any time with nothing more than the cooker of choice, and the required ingredients.

The ingame recipe item is not required, it is only an ingame means of providing a list of the ingredients for some of these recipes. That is, not all of these recipes have an associated ingame recipe item: for example, Sweet Vegetable Cake. Multiple recipes can cook concurrently, however be aware that some combinations of ingredients for multiple recipes may produce other unwanted dishes, as there are limited recipe ingredients creating considerable overlap in recipes.

This feature is of the most use when mass cooking kibble; by placing all the required kibble ingredients into a cooker at once, it is possible to cook all the kibble types at the same time, without producing unwanted dishes.

All standard recipes require water. Water can be provided to the Industrial Cooker through pipes, or placed by hand into either cooker using Water Flasks and so on. Besides upping the multipliers for maturation on my server, are there any suggestions anyone has to overcome the baby food glitch, killing several baby dinos on my server?

Thanks in advance! Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments. Nobody has found a work around. Eventually, they'll click back into synch, their values will jump to where they should be, and start eating again. Originally posted by snowbear :. Someone on my server thought raising the maturation timer would help, as the babies would grow up faster.

My question if I did that, would be how to adjust the imprint modifier to correlate to the newer, faster time. Unless that happens normally. Housatonic View Profile View Posts. We've been using the water trick on my unofficial server - have the babies float in water to reduce their food intake.

NO MORE HAND FEEDING BABIES [SNOW OWL PERMA FREEZE] - EDUCATIONAL VIDEO

We haven't had any die this way that I'm aware of, but most of those babies were rexes, which have a big food buffer to begin with. However, vanmeteran's suggestion would be my first suggestion as well.

I'm purely trying to avoid that since I strive to have default rates on my server. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 8 May, pm.

There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures. Apparently a crossbreed of a Triceratops and Styracosaurus, Triceratops styrax has both the characteristic three-horned face of Triceratops and the prominent horned-ridge of Styracosaurus.

Normally a very docile grazing animal, Triceratops becomes aggressive once angered. Triceratops will chase down would-be predators and egg-stealers with incredible prejudice. Running away from triceratops is harder than it seems due to its ability to charge and ram its target. I've seen Triceratops have an especially hostile reaction to the Tyrannosaurus, with herds attacking en masse. While not very fast, they are deadly in a group. A common mount for those that ride dinosaurs, Triceratops doubles as pack animal and combat dinosaur.

Triceratops' bony ridge works excellently as cover from frontal attack, and the dinosaur's charge is incredibly dangerous. It is largely protective of its kinds if its sense danger.

In the presence of larger carnivores that appears as a threat, Triceratops becomes stronger and rallies the effort of its nearby species.

It is also capable of harvesting a sizable amount of resources with its horns by shredding fruit from the leaves, making it a very useful work companion for smaller tribes. The Trike is not aggressive until attacked.

When attacked, it charges at the enemy and bucks it with its head. Their bucking attack knocks the enemy back, which can make Trikes much more dangerous near cliffs or steep hills.

The amount of knockback is significantly influenced by the enemy's weight. However, This attack can be easily dodged, but if it decides to ram and charge forwards, it is better to quickly dodge sideways as its speed when charging is much faster than simply running forwards. The Triceratops is also a herding animal, coming to the aid of others when attacked.

The Trike is a relatively small stout quadrupedal herbivore, which sports a large bony head equipped with an equally bony frill, which is adorned with multiple horns or spikes. Three larger horns also appear on the animal's head, one over each eye, and one on the nose. This section displays the Triceratops's natural colors and regions. There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures. Microluminis globulus is best described as a slobbering, roly-poly ball of affection. Just like its kin, it is completely harmless, despite its pronounced fangs. So if a survivor sees one running towards them, they should prepare to be licked, not bitten. Unfortunately, being so ugly that you're cute is not an effective means of self-defense, which lands it near the bottom of the food chain.

Its Charge Light may intimidate some predators, but it attracts just as many. While Microluminis globulus has skin reminiscent of lizards or amphibians, its behavior is incredibly similar to a common canine. This has made it a particularly popular choice as a companion and source of Charge Light, but remember - whatever shoulder you rest it on will be covered in drool within minutes. With low health and a relatively low running speed, bulbdogs make for an easy kill. When attacked, other bulbdogs in the area will run away from you, so keep that in mind when hunting groups of them. Anything will work, even simple weaponry such as a Spear. To prevent it from getting away, using something to immobilize it such as a Bola may be advised.

Bulbdog is never a threat by itself, but it typically shares its living space with various predators such as Aberrant RaptorRavagersAberrant Spinoand even the occasional Karkinos. Always be wary of the various predators in the area. The Bulbdog is unable to be tamed through the standard tranquilize-and-feed methods, and must be tamed non-violently.

To feed it, place one the foods listed below on the last slot of your hotbar, then when approached press the use key default E, to feed it. You cannot feed them all the food required for taming at one time, you must wait every couple of minutes until it is hungry again to feed it more until its taming meter is filled.

There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures. A gentle giant, Macrodryadis crystallinus spends its days foraging for food in the dense forest it calls home, though it rarely has to look very far.

Thanks to its extraordinary digestive system, not only can Macrodryadis eat just about anything, but it can also turn a diet of scraps into a mountain of precious resources. Instead of producing excrement, Macrodryadis grows glittering crystals upon its back, which fall off when they reach their full size.

Shattering these crystals can yield precious resources, as Macrodryadis is somehow able to transmute the materials it eats into something entirely different.

One of our pilots likened the process to the gachapon machines from his memories of growing up in Japan, and I guess the name stuck. Though its crystals prevent Macrodryadis from wearing a traditional saddle, if its rider is willing to sit in a basket that hangs from Macrodryadis' neck, then they'll find its long claws are well suited for mining resources.

Personally though, I'd keep one around just for the crystals. The free presents, the way they glow at night The Gacha roams around in The UnderForest, the deepest area of the Crater Forestswiping occasionally at rocks, trees and bushes; which they follow with sitting down and eating.

They're big and bulky, with relatively good stamina, but, unfortunately, are fairly slow both when walking and running. This section displays the Gacha's natural colors and regions.

In addition to the basic crafting materials that can be obtained from the Crystals, occasionally the Gacha will produce a different colored, glowing crystal of a certain quality that when opened, produces fully crafted items such as Wooden Tree Platforms or even something with quality such as an Assault Rifle.

It makes a sniffing gesture towards the survivor and if they do not carry any element with them, it flees, sometimes returning to follow. There is a chance however, that it will instead mutate into its giant form rather than making a gesture, taking more of an aggressive approach, even if not fed Element. Under its mutated giant form, it kills everything in sight until it reverts back to its small form. The Ferox is similar in appearance to that of a Jerboa.

Upon consuming Elementit transforms into a larger, more aggressive version of itself that is more canine-like in facial features and with massive muscles. Both forms have six limbs, with the middle arms being slightly smaller than the top ones. This section displays the Ferox's natural colors and regions. Ferox can be tamed non-violently rather than through the usual methods. However, it can't be tamed while it is in its giant mutated form. You must not have a Ferox on your shoulder during taming. With Element in any slot, approach the Ferox and use the element to begin taming.

Be ready to run away as the Ferox shapeshifts into an aggressive giant and will then proceed to chase after the survivor who fed it, and will continue to pursue until it reverts back to its small self. This must be repeated multiple times until it is tamed after the last revert. One of the known tactics is to encase it around a giant trap base by luring it while in its giant form with a speedy dino.

Another tactic is if you are in a cave you can feed it element and grapple to the roof of the cave and repeat until it is tamed. You can also use a Bloodstalker to grab the Ferox after it transforms and hold it in place until it transforms back, then repeat the procedure after feeding it element.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.

Knock out a Dino and knock it out again to take it the next day. Food is WAY lower and u get maximum taming effectiveness. It does require u to wait the period of the dino's knockout, so it's really only effective before going to sleep or if u have a tight schedule. Never happened before til now. Annoying as all hell.

Originally posted by chemsoldier79 :. Taming efficiency only drops on 3 occasions: 1: the tame got hit by anything; 2: It had no food left in its inventory; 3: It ate a piece of food. So time has nothing to do with losing efficiency on knock out tames. Since this is a necroed thread, i thought i would add that WC did add separate settings for wild and tame food consumption. So you can speed up taming without changing the amount of food needed to eat.
